Job description:
Amgen is seeking a skilled Sitecore Engineer with a strong development background and a thorough understanding of the Sitecore platform. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing our Sitecore-based digital solutions, contributing to various aspects of our web presence. This role involves working on high-impact projects, providing end-to-end solutions, and ensuring the effective execution of Sitecore best practices.Key Responsibilities :* Develop and maintain web applications using Sitecore XP and ASP.NET MVC.* Utilize SXA or JSS for efficient Sitecore development. Experience with the Sitecore Helix Framework is highly desirable.* Expertise in mapping frameworks, particularly Glass Mapper, to efficiently manage data models in Sitecore.* Design and implement RESTful APIs and handle their integration within the Sitecore ecosystem.* Perform Sitecore configuration and customization to meet specific business requirements.* Develop global reusable components, enhancing the modularity and scalability of Sitecore applications.* Implement Sitecore best practices, driving optimization and efficiency in our web solutions.* Configure and implement minor enhancements in Sitecore, ensuring continuous improvement of the platform.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.* Stay updated with the latest Sitecore updates and features, and leverage these in ongoing projects.
Qualifications :* Proven experience as a Sitecore developer with hands-on expertise in Sitecore XP, ASP.NET MVC, SXA, and JSS.* Familiarity with the Sitecore Helix Framework and experience in using mapping frameworks like Glass Mapper.* Strong background in API integration and management within a Sitecore context.* Solid understanding of web development, content management systems, and digital marketing solutions.* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.* Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
