The Money Movement User Experiences team makes it easy for Stripe users to pay others. We do this by building and scaling Recipient Payouts, a purpose-built, payout only solution that allows senders to pay recipients with just one API call, supports consumer and W2 payouts, with global coverage, relevant payout methods and currency capabilities.What you'll do

We are looking for an engineering leader to build the team and drive the technical vision and design of the product. This role is critical, not only for the millions of merchants that use Stripe but their users as well.ResponsibilitiesWork with a team of talented engineers, product managers and designers to deliver an end-to-end Payments productCollaborate other leaders across Stripe to design and drive the vision for Payment LinksDrive the roadmap and goals of your team partnering with cross-functional teamsRecruit great engineers, in collaboration with the recruiting teamDevelop engineers on the team, helping them grow and advance in their careersManage processes to enable your team to do their best work and interface effectively with the rest of StripeContribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Stripe's engineering management teamWho you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum requirementsYou have 10+ years of professional experience, and at least 3 years of engineering management experience, with a track record of leading high performing engineering teamsYou have been responsible for delivering great products that work end-to-end and managed frontend and backend engineersYou enjoy working closely with customersYou work very well cross-functionally, and are comfortable making hard decisions and trade-offsYou have a strong technical sense and think rigorously about architecture and product decisionsYou thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibilityYou have successfully recruited great people to your teamYou enjoy developing and mentoring engineers and engineering leaders
