Description

We are looking for an experienced Community Manager for our residential community located in Glen Ellyn, IL. Our Community Manager has the overall responsibility of the financial and operational management of the property to ensure efficient daily operations, meet financial objectives and reach occupancy goals. Pay: Commensurate with experience $30/hr. to $35/hr. + eligibility for quarterly bonus

3+ years of experience in the multi-family housing industryStrong interpersonal skillsProvide excellent customer service and assist all residents with a positive and friendly toneDemonstrate a professional, courteous attitude and appearance at all timesProven ability to comply with operational policies and proceduresStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skillsBe well organized and have excellent time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Experience with property management software (Yardi and CRM)Ability to effectively lead a team to succeed and meet performance goalsAbility to demonstrate conflict management and problem-solving skillsPosition Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations and leasing functions of the property to ensure resident and owner satisfactionImplement creative & effective marketing campaigns and sales and closing techniquesOversee the leasing team to ensure that goals for occupancy are achievedOversee the collection of rent, delinquency and the eviction processEstablish and maintain positive relationships with our residents and vendorsAddress resident complaints in a timely manner ensuring resolution and continued resident satisfactionWork closely with the service team to ensure the cleanliness of the community, service requests are completed timely and unit turns are completed on scheduleLead and support the team in a manner that is inclusive and supports a great working environmentLearn and comply with industry legal requirements, especially related to federal and local Fair Housing LawsLearn and comply with the company's policies and proceduresPerform other duties as required by Vice President of Operations
