We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operations of our 344-units residential community located in Alexandria, VA. The Property Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the property, maintaining positive relationships with residents, and efficiently managing administrative tasks.

What you will be doing

Manage all aspects of the residential community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relationsConduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standardsHandle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional mannerCoordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and managing security deposit returnsMaintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, work orders, and other relevant documentationOversee the collection of rent payments and ensure timely processingCollaborate with maintenance staff to address repair and maintenance needs promptlyEnforce community rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environmentStay updated on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all interactions with residents

What you will bring along

5 years of experience as Property ManagerBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (preferred)Strong knowledge of real estate, administrative procedures and practices

Excellent conflict management skills to effectively resolve disputes between residents or with external partiesFamiliarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing contracts and eviction proceduresExceptional customer relationship management skills to provide excellent service to residentsStrong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficientlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in using property management software such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and OneSiteKnowledge in Microsoft office, Microsoft Teams, Adobe
