At Versiti, we are passionate about improving the lives of patients and helping our healthcare partners thrive.Position Summary:Under the direction of the department leader, assists the department through various clerical functions and special projects.Responsibilities:Works with internal communications team and internal partners to write, edit, proofread and produce a variety of internal communications for several channels, including company email, intranet site development and maintenance, SharePoint site support, digital board signage, and other digital and print messaging and communication tactics.Drafts strategic communications plans for centers of excellence within HR (Total Rewards, Wellness, DEI, Talent Development) to exceed their identified goals and objectives.Assists in brainstorming and implementing tactics in support of communication strategies relating to organizational and business change initiatives, as well as employee and patient story programs.Provides administrative support to the department including filing, data entry and handling customer requestsPrepares presentations to company leadersHelps identify opportunities for process efficiency and collaborate with teams as necessaryAssists with the analysis and resolution of department issues and makes recommendations as appropriate.Assists staff with various support activities upon request, such as special projects, reports, etc.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classificationUnderstands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirementsComplies with all standard operating policies and procedures#LI-LP1Qualifications:EducationCurrently enrolled in an accredited college or university majoring in communications, business or a health related discipline. requiredExperienceExperience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) requiredExperience with integrated HRIS/payroll systems required; experience with Ceridian preferredExperience in a health care setting preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to handle confidential information appropriatelyAbility to quickly and accurately understand instructions and then work independently on assignmentsAbility to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other department manuals.Detail-oriented to evaluate and ensure accuracy of dataStrong sense of urgency to meet deadlinesExceptional organizational and problem-solving skillsProven ability to manage multiple projectsStrong interpersonal skills and exceptional commitment to customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skills to write, interpret and explain information related to benefits
