Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist role is a generalist role responsible for supporting the marketing strategy of the Thomas Eye Group by executing various and evolving digital marketing tactics. As directed by leadership, this role executes and evaluates marketing tactics with the goals of promoting Thomas Eye Group products and services, increasing brand awareness, and generating volume.

Our ideal candidate has a strong digital marketing background with 3+ years' experience in a variety of digital marketing tactics with 2 years of regular design work producing assets with the Adobe suite of design products. Healthcare marketing experience is strongly preferred. The successful candidate demonstrates a strong technical background in digital marketing with the ability to routinely adapt to new tactics and new digital marketing platforms as well as the ability to pivot between digital marketing tactics as business and marketing strategy dictates. This role will also support print and traditional marketing activities as needed as part of a collaborative and cross-trained marketing team.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Creative or related field preferred. A related master's degree enhances competitiveness.

Required Minimum Experience: 3+ years of broad experience in digital marketing tactics.

Core Competencies:Design and produce assets for various marketing channels with the Adobe suite of products.Evaluate and recommend digital marketing tactics to support a given marketing objective or strategy.Execute various digital marketing tactics as directed by leadership.Work both individually under the direction of the Director of Marketing to accomplish assigned tasks as well as part of a collaborative, flexible, and adaptive marketing team focused on achieving the business objectives of the practice.Produce relevant metrics reporting from a variety of digital tactic platforms.Thomas Eye Group uses a variety of digital marketing tactics and continuously adapts to tactics best suit current marketing and business objectives. Experience in a variety of the following enhances competitiveness:

Website design with WordPress, website user experience evaluation and optimization, and deployment of various types of website content.Web development and coding.Web event tagging and other analytic methods (UTM, Google Tag Manager, etc.) for metrics and campaign evaluation.SEO strategy development and execution include on-page, technical, and developing back links. Experience with tools such as SEM Rush, Google Search Console, etc.Optimizing social media pages and profiles, developing organic social media content calendars, and creating and deploying organic social media content. Experience across a broad range of platforms and the ability to learn new platforms or increase depth in platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, X, and Pinterest.Experience with an organic social media posting platform such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Hubspot, etc.Creating, deploying, managing, and evaluating paid social media campaigns in various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.Creating, deploying, managing, and evaluating paid display campaigns through an agency or in-house in platforms such as Google Ads or AdRoll.Experience implementing tracking methods such as CallRail for metrics including phone tracking for campaign effectiveness evaluation.Creating, deploying, managing, and evaluating email campaigns.Online reputation management including listing optimization, local SEO, review solicitation, and metrics evaluation (GMB, Bing, Apple Maps, etc.). Experience in platforms used to manage this such as Podium or BirdEye.Creating, deploying, managing, and evaluating search engine marketing campaigns (PPC) in Google, Bing, and other platforms.Creating or sourcing, deploying, managing digital assets and content for patient facing screens in offices.Supporting print collateral design, production, and management as part of a collaborative team.Support the development of DRIP, nurture, and other marketing automation campaigns in various platforms such as SalesForce.CRM management and support for platforms such as SalesForce or Hubspot.Support tactic implementation, project management, and traffic management with external marketing and advertising agencies.Support the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.Ability to learn healthcare specific communication platforms such as Brevim and MD Prospects as well as components of practice management software related to marketing and patient communications.
