We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.The Manager, Customer Marketing is responsible for developing and driving coordinated sales and marketing outreach strategies for Staples Business Advantage, specifically for buyers within the healthcare vertical. He or she will use customer data and insights to develop plans that deliver a cohesive customer experience across touchpoints including sales, email, digital media and site. The Manager will work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including customer analytics, customer insights, merchandising, sales, creative agency, circulation, and vehicle owners.What you’ll be doing :Partner with merchandising, sales, and customer insights to develop a deep understanding of the healthcare vertical, including customer wants and needs, pain points, product offerings, and solutionsDevelop and implement lead generation activity to capture, nurture, and win new buyers within the verticalDefine/execute coordinated sales and marketing strategies to grow share from active buyersReview and evolve tactics based on areas of opportunityPartner with sales operations teams to activate seller actions in coordination with marketing effortsPartner with sales team to ensure sales tools are relevant and coordinated with other campaign messagingCreate a pipeline of testing and learning, with clear goals and actions based on test resultsDrive development of measurement plans/KPIs in partnership with customer analytics and post campaign analysis and action planManage marketing budget for healthcare vertical marketingWhat you bring to the table :Experienced, results-oriented, and customer-centric sales and marketing professional with the ability to drive strategy using customer insights and transactional dataDemonstrated strategic thinking and creative problem-solving activitiesTeam-orientation, with an affinity for influencing and working across functions in a dynamic, often, changing environmentStrong leader; able to keep initiatives moving on time, on budget, and with attention to detailAble to foresee and prevent problems in advance and fix any issues quicklyStrong analytical skills; able to articulate the most important business questions and develop recommendations and action plans based on dataAbility to prioritize initiatives based on business impact and oversee the tactical execution of plans, ensuring flawless executionQualifications :What’s needed- Basic Qualifications :6+ of strategic planning and sales/marketing experienceWhat’s needed- Preferred Qualifications :Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Marketing or Communications or equivalent work experiencePrevious experience in B2B sales and marketingPrevious experience with marketing based on verticalWe Offer :Hybrid work schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days per week remoteInclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource GroupsFlexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays)Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more perks and benefits
