UX Developer

Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The UX Developer will be responsible for developing the front-ends for both customer-facing and internal applicationsEssential Functions:Design, develop, and test user interfaces for both customer-facing and internal applicationsIntegrate front-end applications with backend servicesMaintain company-wide user interface standards and best practicesCollaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams including product management, DevOps, and corporate applications, among othersKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Expert in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSSExperience in ReactExperience integrating with API backendKnowledgeable with responsive website design and cross-browser compatibility, multi-device development, and testingComfortable utilizing code repositories such as GitHub and BitbucketAbility to rapidly iterate prototypes in collaboration with product owners and end usersIn-depth understanding of User Interface Design and User Experience Design (e.g. usability, aesthetics, browser compatibility )Efficient at translating requirements into easy to use, professional looking solutionsComfortable coordinating tasks with all levels of colleaguesProficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologiesQualifications7+ years of UI development experience preferred5+ years of experience with UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, Ember, etc.3+ years of financial website experience preferredTechnical degree or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
