Overview

Since 1979, Insight for Living Ministries (IFLM) has been committed to excellence in teaching the study and application of God's Word. Pastor Chuck Swindoll and his wife, Cynthia, began the ministry by broadcasting Pastor Chuck's Bible-teaching program, Insight for Living, on 18 stations. Today, the program airs on more than 2,000 stations, can be streamed through various online channels, and can be heard in 70 countries and eight languages.

In addition to our international headquarters in Frisco, Texas, we currently have ministry offices in 10 countries, where our pastors translate resources, train church leaders to use Pastor Chuck's Searching the Scriptures (STS) Bible-study methods, serve their communities, and pursue

Position Summary

The graphic designer promotes the mission of IFLM by developing visual print and digital solutions that illustrate the biblical concepts found in the ministry's products and resources. As a member of the Communications and Engagement Department, the graphic designer conceptualizes and creates artwork for a multitude of projects from books and newsletters to social media images and videos. Vision 195 , the graphic artist creates and implements visuals that demonstrate biblical truth with the goal of aligning each product's written content with visual imagery that engages readers and represents IFLM in a compelling fashion. A motivated self-starter, the graphic artist ensures high-quality imagery, regularly evaluates processes, and demonstrates initiative in responsibilities to ensure artwork represents a ministry of excellence and quality.

Core Job Functions

Design and Production (65%)

Works closely with the project manager and senior director to understand all goals, purposes, and assignments of projectsQuickly grasps project goals, offers creative solutions during concepting, and communicates these ideas clearly to clientPerforms primary production tasks and manages project components, assembly, and output in order to meet deadlinesCreates graphic art and edits short video features for social media postsPerforms quality reviews at all stages of project development, ensuring no pattern or consistency of errors by the final proofReceives and implements client changes as appropriateEnsures brand consistency across all platformsAcquires the design elements needed for projects handled by the Communications and Engagement DepartmentAssures availability of images and provides information about costsPursues creative stimuli and utilizes a variety of resources to facilitate fresh content and design
