In the

Senior Interior Designer

role, you will be responsible for the overall management of assigned interiors projects and project teams, as well as business development and marketing efforts, including thought leadership efforts.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project successDirect interior design staff within project team and assign specific tasks to keep project on track.Work with client and design team to develop interior finishes and/or space planning that compliment the architectural design.Oversees completion of project documents for all phases of assigned projects.Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Complete performance appraisals for interior design staff when applicable.Support organizational efforts to retain new clients and/or projects through marketing research, strategic communications, and strategic planning.Mentor junior staff.Miscellaneous administrative duties associated with projects as needed or assigned.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in architecture, interior design, or space planning; 10+ years experienceNCIDQ certification or actively pursuing NCIDQ certificationWillingness and ability to travel to Columbus office on a regular schedule and as neededProficiency in Revit; Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft OfficeThorough knowledge of construction materials and methods including sustainable solutions.Understand appropriate industry technologies and softwareAccountable for the preparation of contracts and adherence to internal project budgets; works with Accounting to complete monthly billingsHigh level of proficiency in building code as applicable to each projectExcellent leadership, problem solving, and communication skills, and effective client relationship skillsStrong skills in client communication and presentationsStrong client focus with attention to detailAbility to manage a diverse project team, including consultants, clients, and internal architectural teamsThorough understanding of and participation in MA's internal QA/QC processPositive attitude in line with MA core valuesWhy choose MA?
