Job Overview

:

This role will own the creation of our learning and development content for every level of our North America business. They will leverage proven methodologies for creating curriculum, supporting onboarding, instructional design, and impactful certifications. They will own content design a team that owns training, learning platforms, and facilitated learning.

Roles and Responsibilities :Support Senior Manager of Training in creating, designing, and launching effective training materials with a tailored approach to a variety of stakeholders on a large-scale in the QSR industry.Adobe Creative Suite: (ex. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects), Articulate Storyline 360, and video production /editing software (i.e., Camtasia, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar). Experience with Rise or other design authoring tools is a plus.People Engagement: Support Training Department and Senior Manager of Training in creating and managing content for multiple stakeholder groups that support restaurant operations, backfilling of content presentationProject Management: Manage the content on an LMS platform inclusive of completion and reporting of courseware, assisting franchisees and general managers in adding to a user group platform, comms, completion and reporting of courses and LMS maintenance.Communication: Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external teams regarding training needs and initiatives, manage reporting and tracking of specific courses, and support back end of virtual classes.Personality: positive demeanor; fast-learner; adaptable to change; organized; systematic; results driven; relentless focus on continuous improvement.Prioritize and advance several projects each week ensuring progress of both short- and long-term goals.Support Training including collecting data, creating materials and collecting feedback from stakeholders.Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree required, ideally focused in Instructional Design, Education, or Business.Advanced level experience developing training materials and blended learning curriculum, preferably in the restaurant industry.Experience managing content on an LMS, preferably DoceboExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud Apps InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Effects, Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Rise, and Powtoon.Understanding of adult learning methodologies (e.g. ADDIE/SAM) and theories (e.g. transformative/ experiential learning).Advanced knowledge and experience using PowerPoint and LMS system (e.g., Docebo)Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work cross-functionally between a variety of departmentsPassion for people and learning, and willingness to push teams to think creatively and challenge the status quo.ATD Master Instructional Designer certificate preferred.
