This role uniquely combines interior design expertise and principles, leadership and entrepreneurial skills to ultimately execute projects as a lead interior designer and a director of design teams.The ideal candidate would be a positive professional with strong interpersonal skills, as this position requires significant interaction with high-level clients and directing teams of designers. Must be a US resident, No relocation package and Visa Sponsorship is not available.Responsibilities:Utilize your creative flair and technical expertise to develop comprehensive interior design concepts, space plans, and schematic designs that align with client requirements and project goals.Engage in productive and collaborative discussions with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional needs. Translate client input into actionable design elements while offering expert advice and design recommendations.Take ownership of assigned projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.Prepare detailed construction and design documentation, including drawings, specifications, materials selections, and finish schedules. Ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation to facilitate smooth implementation.Curate and present a diverse range of materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories that align with design concepts and meet project specifications. Consider sustainability and functionality while making selections.Create compelling mood boards, 3D renderings and visualizations using industry-standard software to help clients and team members visualize the final design. Use these tools to convey design intent accurately.Conduct necessary site visits during project execution to monitor progress, address design challenges, and provide on-site solutions as needed.Stay up-to-date with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure all designs and recommendations comply with legal and safety requirements.Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations. Apply this knowledge to enhance design strategies and improve the quality of deliverables.Inspire confidence, design excellence, to mentor and garner trust and respect within the project teams.Direct teams, review and oversee design documents required to complete a project or phase of a project, ensuring documents are in concert with design intent.Engage your entrepreneurial skills to assist in development of new project fee proposals, business development and marketing initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.6+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects and accomplishments.Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, material selection, and furniture design.Knowledge and experience with custom home construction and building methods.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and contractors.Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining design quality.Knowledge of sustainable design practices and a commitment to incorporating eco-friendly elements where possible.Detail-oriented mindset with precision in organization and efficiency.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to navigate design challenges.Membership in relevant professional organizations or certifications will be a plus.Possess extraordinary taste and knowledge of high-end furnishings and furnishings vendors.Ability to lead and direct project teams, providing guidance and support throughout all phases of design, construction and furnishings selections.Current driver's license and reliable transportationSalary & Benefits:Salary range; $65,000 / yr. - $85,000 / yr. based on experience and qualificationsProfit sharing plan401(K) and 401(K) Company MatchPaid holidaysPaid VacationReimbursement for continuing education and professional affiliationsRemote work opportunities, based on experience and positionStudio G Home is a drug-free workplace.
