We are on a mission to find a talented and experienced Interior Designer who is ready to take their career to the next level.Why You'll Love This Role:In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with our Project Managers and senior designer/project manager, playing a key part in the development and coordination of various exciting projects. You'll have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team, utilizing your creative vision and design expertise to elevate our standards and make a real impact.What You'll Do:Develop innovative technical and design solutions through detailed drawings and sketches.Select and research materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment that bring projects to life.Produce accurate construction documentation, ensuring design intent and code compliance.Stay updated on building codes and construction regulations to ensure best practices.Generate and develop compelling interior design concepts, focusing on color, materials, and specifications.Prepare schematic and conceptual design elements for projects.Create layouts, sketches, and space plans to effectively convey your design ideas.Develop design presentation materials and participate in client presentations.Complete project documentation, including meeting minutes, schedules, specifications, field reports, and punch lists.Conduct on-site visits and field reviews, guiding contractors and vendors as needed.Review construction administration RFIs and submittals to ensure project accuracy.Engage in team meetings, educational sessions, and discussions on new products and design trends.What We're Looking For:Proficiency in hand and computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting.Strong programming and space planning skills.Deep knowledge of design trends, construction methods, and material applications.Advanced understanding of furniture, fixtures, equipment, lighting, and color.Basic knowledge of building regulations and safety codes.Expertise in producing precise technical plans, drawings, and models.Familiarity with sustainability and LEED guidelines.Excellent organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.Proficiency in technical software including MS Office, Revit, and 3D modeling software (Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Qualifications We Value:Experience with design quality assurance and control activities.Background in commercial, sports, and/or education market segments.Strong professional interaction skills for business development and project execution.Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.Proven track record of organizational skills and client satisfaction.Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.Florida Interior Design License (or eligibility to obtain licensing in Florida).8-10 years of experience in Commercial Interior Design.Why You'll Love Working With Us:Be a part of a prestigious firm that values creativity and innovation.Collaborate with a supportive and talented team of professionals.Make a significant impact on exciting and diverse projects.Enjoy the beauty and lifestyle of Sarasota, Florida.Are you ready to unleash your creative potential and join a dynamic, prestigious firm?
