These are the products of the hair-obsessed.The role:The Technical Content Manager is responsible for the conceptualization and formalization of professional (salon) content development, to inspire and inform hairdressers and increase engagement with the Oribe brand. They will work closely with the Executive Director of Education, Associate Director of Education Content Strategy, and a creative team of Global Artists, to produce content for various live and digital educational formats, including:

- Global Events- Educational Classes for Salons- Brand Artist Trainings- Trade & Retail Partnership Events and E-Commerce

The ideal candidate will have a background in hairdressing/cosmetics or the beauty industry, enabling them to make informed contributions to content sessions and ensure quality output. Additionally, global experience within a brand is preferred, in order to support regions in localization of content.At Kao, we offer an amazing benefits that are available to you on your first day of employment (healthcare, 401(k) plus company match, etc.), 36 total days off (vacation + holidays + sick) and a reasonable salary range of $77,000 - $102,000.What you will do:Creative Conceptualization & ProductionDevelopment of curriculum to serve various educational formats, including in-salon and academy classes, special events, product knowledge exercises, and artist trainingsSpearhead new content and refresh existing content to be strategically deployed and adapted to different audiences and geographical regionsConceptualize event content to be performed by global creative teamCreate supportive technical content for various NPD initiatives and cross-functional projectsDevelop content to be performed during live and digital trade and retail partner events

Content Development SessionsLead content development sessions with artists to bring creative, technical concepts to lifeDevelop and drive project management timeline for the content development processProvide insight and feedback on technical conceptsServe as expert on industry developments, creative trends, and culturally relevant moments to push forward educational efforts with speed and efficiency

Global Artist ManagementManage Global Artists' calendars - liaise with Global, Regional and Local teams to schedule Artists in markets for various classes and events. Approve and track expense reports for related events and communicate expenses to teams as necessary.Photo Shoot BriefingsLead creative briefings with artists and producer in preparation for shooting new contentLead planning and production of high-level shoots for global events and select curriculum

What you will need:6+ years experience professional experiencePrior beauty brand/industry experience requiredCreative and knowledgeable professional experienced in creating highly optimized, industry informational, and creative materialPrior experience with writing and conceptualizing technical beauty contentBrand experience at the global level preferredBachelor's degree or cosmetology licenseMac proficient and familiarity with MS Suite, Adobe CS, Slack, Asana (preferred) and general comfort with new programs
