Candidates who livenear CB offices have the option of being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesdayand Wednesday in office) Type: This is a full-time position About theTeam The Advanced Placement Content and Assessment Publications teamsupports College Board in serving more than seven million students ayear as they prepare for a successful transition to college throughprograms and services in college readiness and college success -specifically through the Advanced Placement (AP) Program. With more than38 courses in a variety of subject areas, we are committed to promotinginnovation, equity, and excellence for generations of students. The APContent and Assessment Publications team develops a variety ofpublications from course descriptions to practice exams for teachers ofthe forty AP subject areas (comprising curricula in mathematics, arts,English, science, world languages, and social sciences) and resourcesrelated to the development of new AP courses. We are a close-knit,dedicated team with a track record of success in producing products andpublications for a variety of audiences, including students, parents,educators, member organizations and staff. About the Opportunity As theDirector, Product Development and Editorial, you will guide the launchof new and revised AP courses by shaping and managing various productsand publications (e.g., Course and Exam Descriptions, Lab Manuals,Practice Exams). You will guide the content creation conducted by otherteam members, vendors and/or consultants as needed. You are a drivingforce in the team\'s efforts to meet deadlines and refine processes. Youwill ensure that AP Program policies, processes, information, andresources are communicated clearly, accurately, and consistently. Inthis role, you will: Content Development and Management 50%: * Manageand collaborate with Program Staff and Subject Matter Experts on thecreation and development of new and revised curriculum and assessmentproducts and publications for select AP classes * Implement and adhereto processes and timetables, editorial guides, review and qualitycontrol protocols, and other standards needed to ensure uniform andhigh-quality product development and delivery * Provide guidance ondesign and formatting of publications as needed; previous experienceusing Adobe InDesign is strongly preferred. * Develop standards andenforce consistency in instructional practice, structure, design andterminology Project Management 50%: * Work with other teams across theAP division in developing requirements and resources to ensure alignment* Ensure all products are fair, bias-free, and in alignment with APCourse and Exam Descriptions (CEDs) and other relevant documents andstandards * Assist in a variety of program management tasks related toAP publications and communications, including tracking and monitoringprogram publication budgets; coordinating program components with otherdepartments/divisions/consultants; preparing reports and recommendingadjustments in policies and procedures, and supporting efforts tocontinuously improve communications planning, content development, andproduction and distribution processes About You You have: * Minimum offour years effective and relevant work experience in publishing in aneditorial or design capacity * Experience in managing content acrossmultiple channels (print and digital media) preferred * Experience inthe development of curricula or instructional materials * Ability towork independently and as part of a team * Strong organizational, timeand task management skills and the ability to move forward multipleprojects in concert while meeting To view the full job descriptionplease use the link below.https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjQyNTM1Ljg3NzBAY29sbGVnZWJvY JkY29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online:https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjQyNTM1Ljg3NzBAY29sbGVnZWJvYXJkY29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20
