Sales & Marketing Coordinator
role:
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator provides administrative support to the Group Sales & Marketing/ Public Relations Team. They follow up on sales leads and inquiries, coordinate the planning of amenity arrangements, FAM Trips, Site Inspections, confirm reservations, and assist a dynamic team including the Director of Sales, Group Sales Managers , & Director of Public Relations with any administrative tasks. Assist with all guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department, including assisting with high telephone volume and walk-in site inspections.Assist with the development of all direct sales presentation material for both travel industry and group sales.Proof read all marketing material, including: collateral, direct mail, advertising, printed promotional pieces, guest correspondence, etc.Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the director of marketing. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.In addition, the Sales & Catering Coordinator provides a variety of reports and maintains multiple informational databasesWhat you will do:
Strong knowledge of and the ability to operate multiple computer platforms at the highest skill level.Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams.Assist with all guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department, including assisting with high telephone volume and walk-in site inspections.Assist with the development of all direct sales presentation material for both travel industry and group salesExcellent written and verbal communication skills to proof read all marketing material, including: collateral, direct mail, advertising, printed promotional pieces, guest correspondence, etc.Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the director of marketing. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.In addition, the Sales & Catering Coordinator provides a variety of reports and maintains multiple informational databases.What we are looking for:
We are looking for individuals who have a strong administrative background, preferably in a similar role in a luxury hotel.Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills and interpersonal skills is a must!Successful candidate must work well under pressure, be able to multitask and have strong detail orientedand organizational skills.Strong command of the English language. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, PowerPoint, Outlook and Golden (Delphi) and Opera
