The position may be assigned to work for any Judicial Officer in the Second Judicial District per operational needs, travel is required.Starting salary dependent upon relevant courtroom experience.Court Reporter positions are open until filled, but considered as applications are received. Reads back court testimony and proceedings upon request. Makes verbatim typed record of testimony and proceedings as required. Prepares transcripts, performs general office work and provides substantial clerical support for the Court. Marks and records exhibits during court proceedings. Electronic document filing is required in all District 2 counties, so a high level of computer proficiency is essential. Performs related work as determined by the supervising judicial officer or the Chief Judge or his designee.
