ResponsibilitiesIdentify and connect with trending events that resonate with the community and align with our product.Build relationships with event organizers and community influencers to enhance our market presence.Conceptualize and create new events that communicate our core value propositions to customers.Develop unique and creative event experiences that drive customer excitement and engagement.Coordinate logistical aspects of events, including vendor partnerships, activation staff, and community interactions.Ensure smooth execution of events by managing all operational details and addressing any guest issues with resourcefulness and creativity.Take full ownership of public events, overseeing hospitality, production, execution, client management, and all logistical needs.Handle end-to-end event responsibilities, from initial setup to post-event reporting.Foster a positive work environment, emphasizing motivation, teamwork, and excellent customer service during events.Encourage participation and ownership by all team members, focusing on event execution and customer hospitality.Collaborate closely with research and marketing teams to understand the consumer audience and identify opportunities for product improvement.Provide insights to product leadership to inform the product roadmap based on customer feedback and market trends.Champion hospitality values and embody our event production standards to create memorable experiences for customers.Address and solve challenging guest issues through creative thinking and collaboration.Support sales and customer service efforts by driving event attendance and customer engagement.Leverage events to introduce potential partners and future business leads to Going Out as a platform.Manage relationships with vendors and third-party partners to ensure successful event execution.Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with all logistical and operational requirements.Adapt to the dynamic needs of a startup environment, taking on tasks that may fall outside of typical scope.Maintain a bias for action and a collaborative mindset, working quickly to implement and learn from imperfect solutions.Regularly oversee, support, and improve operational needs during nights and weekends.Travel to events throughout the Bay Area as needed, based primarily out of the San Francisco office.
