The Data Analyst Report Writer will work closely with the Sr. Data Analyst Report Writer to design and develop reports for Alomere Health. Data Analyst Report Writer will gather, analyze, document functional/reporting requirements, create and deliver reports to Alomere Health leaders and individual end users. Data Analyst Report Writer will provide training to organization report users.

Data Analyst Report Writer demonstrates a basic understanding of healthcare department workflows and needs in order to provide report development recommendations to department leaders and individual users for their data assessment and decision-making.

Essential Responsibilities

Reporting

Ensure adherence to organization data security requirements for the storage and delivery of reportsTurn business requests into detailed report specifications, ensuring that all requirements have been captured and documentedCreate, publish and schedule reports and dashboards through Microsoft PowerBI and other tools as requiredPerform the testing, validating, optimization and trouble-shooting of new and existing reportsDevelop and maintain technical documentationReview reports, critically assess data in relation to processes to improve clinical outcomes and system changesFunctional Leadership

Support report design and development tasks.As requested, perform analysis and make recommendations for financial and clinical leaders’ reports and metricsAs needed, perform software updates, upgrades, and new application integration into databases and reportsCustomer Service

Support department users by assessing and finalizing their report requestsProvide technical training and resource support for end users in regards to use of reports or applicationsWork with organization report requesters to identify reporting and analytical requirements and develop reports and dashboards to meet the requirementsAssess stakeholders’ use of legacy reports to determine updated reporting tool configurationAssist with end user support including help desk calls as neededRequired Qualifications

Associate’s degreePreferred Qualifications

Microsoft Power BI experienceWorking knowledge of SQL and databasesUnderstanding of healthcare reporting requirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong logical, analytical, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, ability to translate data into informative visuals and reports, and present findingsProven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
