Pepper Construction provides clients the experience and resources of a national company, combined with the hands-on approach of a local company.POSITION SUMMARY:Pepper is seeking a proactive, self-starter, motivated candidate for a full-time senior marketing coordinator position in Indianapolis. The position offers opportunities in many facets of marketing, with different responsibilities every day. The senior marketing coordinator's primary role is responsible for theleading the creation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials in a deadline-driven environment. This position requires a strategic thought process, clear communication, strong writing skills, attention to detail, customer service and the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and lead the response process for qualifications and proposals, including strategy development, organization, information gathering, writing, and editing text, design and layout and productionManage and lead the strategy and preparation for interview presentations, in addition to creating supporting content / materialsAttend content strategy meetings and assist in gathering and writing stories on in-progress and completed projects for use in proposals, case studies, brochures, and websitePrepare introductory market overview brochures and supporting materialsWork with team to develop awards and submissions materials, survey responses, project overviews, case studies, e-blast and social media content for events and activitiesOther various PR/Communications projects as neededCoordination of staff and project photography (identifying needs, scheduling, day-of coordination, editing and governance)Ensure visual marketing strategies are in compliance with Pepper brand guidelinesManage updates to the marketing database and creation of marketing materials i.e., narratives, resumes and project cards
Organize and conduct market research (as needed)Provide internal support to departments, committees, and eventsPerform other job-related duties as necessaryPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Prior experience working within the A/E/C industryBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.Minimum four years relevant experience (required)Ability to accurately type 50 WPMProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe InDesign is required. Other Adobe Creative Suiteapplications such as Photoshop and/or Illustrator are preferred
Strong creative graphic design, writing and proofing skills (AP style), with an emphasis on quality and accuracy as evidenced by samples (required)
Experience with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, video editing and passion for photography preferredProactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamMust have strong organizational skills, show initiative, savvy time management skills and the ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities in a deadline driven environmentExcellent customer service and ability to build and maintain strong working relationshipsAbility to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretionStrategic mindset, attention to detail and creative problem-solverSome travel to local jobsites may be required occasionallyWHY WORK AT PEPPER

This position provides an opportunity for increased responsibility and advancement. This position is primarily on site in our Indianapolis office.
