Secure Passage is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior UI Engineer to join our dynamic development team. As a Senior Software UI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing our software and enhancing user experiences. This position involves hands-on coding, problem resolution, cross-team collaboration, and active participation in the software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for the following:
Performing all commercial software development duties, including but not limited to technical design, coding, and unit testing to deliver high-quality commercial software releases on a predictable and consistent schedule according to the Secure Passage development processes.Collaborating with product teams to implement best practices and enhance usability.Preparing technical documentation, conducting, and participating in code reviews to ensure that the code meets internal standards and follows industry best practices and the highest quality.Offering technical direction and guidance to other engineering team members and assisting in managing development environments as well as installing and configuring commercial products.Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience4-6 years of related work experience with a solid understanding of UI development fundamentalsProficiency in Next.js, React, and the associated tech stackExperience with Git and version control systemsExperience with RESTful APIs and GRPCExperience with GCPHands on experience with GitHub Continuous Integration (CI) workflowsPreferred Qualifications:
Understanding of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) with Next.jsExperience with TypeScriptKnowledge of CSS-in-JS libraries such as Styled Components or EmotionFamiliarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing LibraryExperience with Agile Scrum methodologyDevOps and SRE experience (Azure pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)Experience in SIEM/SOAR application development a plusExperience with Vercel for deployment and optimization
