In partnership with our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, Randstad is hiring for an Authorizations Representative in California! Candidate must have experience working in the healthcare field and have a flexible schedule! ***If you are looking for a new role and live in California this opportunity could be for you!***
salary: $22 - $23 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 8:30 PMeducation: High School
Responsibilities
Supports the authorization review process by researching and documenting necessary medical information such as history, diagnosis, and prognosis based on the referral to the clinical reviewer for determinationVerifies member insurance coverage and/or service/benefit eligibility and ensures it meets guidelinesCompleteds data entry into the system and updates various authorization requestsSupports and processes authorization requests for services to meet the insurance prior authorization guidelines and sends the information to the clinician for review.***Candidate must have open availability - schedule will vary between 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and could include weekends***
