In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies aligned with the Telemundo brand and target audience across linear and digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Programming Scheduling team to plan and schedule programming, ensuring a diverse and compelling lineup that attracts and retains viewers.Job Duties:+ Develop and implement content strategies aligned with Telemundo brand and target audience across television and digital platforms.+ Collaborate with Programming Scheduling team for the planning and scheduling of programming, ensuring a diverse and compelling lineup that attracts and retains viewers.+ Monitor audience preferences, trends, and feedback to inform content decisions and optimize programming for maximum engagement.+ Work closely with Telemundo studios and other NBC Universal teams to integrate programming across various platforms, maximizing reach and impact.+ Manage programming budgets effectively, optimizing resources to achieve content goals while ensuring cost efficiency.+ Analyze performance metrics and audience data to evaluate the success of programming initiatives and identify areas for improvement.+ Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and content creators to support content and programming objectives.Basic Requirements:+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies or related field.+ 5+ years of experience in content development, programming or related roles in the television or digital media industry.+ At least 2 years of management experience with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.+ Strong understanding of television and digital content landscape, including industry trends and emerging technologies.+ Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies and programming initiatives.+ Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellence writing and grammar.+ Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.Desired Characteristics:+ Passionate about Spanish language television, with a keen understanding of audience preferences and trends.+ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.Additional Requirements:+ This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.NBCUniversal's policy is to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicantsand employees without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender identityor expression, age, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, disability, sexualorientation, marital status, pregnancy, veteran status, membership in the uniformedservices, genetic information, or any other basis protected by applicable law.If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran, you have theright to request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in yourability to use or access nbcunicareers.com as a result of your disability.
