The Creative Experience Designer's primary focus will be on Web UI/UX Design and User Research for multiple events, catering to various audiences and touchpoints. This role includes using and maintaining a design system in Figma and establishing best practices for executing compelling UI/UX design for events. The designer will work on UX Design and Research across different events using Marvin software for User Research as needed, coordinating with the UX lead. They will be part of a thriving multi-disciplinary team of designers and strategists, working together to imagine, create, and oversee content across a variety of mediums, with a primary focus on the web experience.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and design specifications.Conceptualize and create innovative, user-friendly UI designs that align with brand identity and user experience goals.Develop and improve UX components for the design library.Translate complex ideas into visually engaging and intuitive designs, ensuring responsive layouts for various devices and screen sizes.Manage multiple design and UX projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of design consistency and quality.Provide strategic input on design direction and user experience, contributing to discussions on website functionality, navigation, and features.Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design assets and maintain design integrity throughout the development process.Conduct design and UX reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of growth and improvement.Clearly communicate creative concepts to multiple audiences, ensuring alignment across key partners and leadership.Work collaboratively with other creative, UX, UXR, and production teams.Provide web design choices and creative rationale.Qualifications:

Proven experience in UI/UX/UXR design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, including user interfaces and UX design projects.Background in brand or design agency is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience in a related field.Experience collaborating with developers and understanding of front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate smooth design implementation.Experience in developing UXR for any project, including planning, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and experience designing and prototyping via a variety of tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.Positive attitude and growth mindset.Strong attention to detail.Additional Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Fluent UI design language.Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and user experience best practices.Knowledge of SEO principles and accessibility standards.Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently or as a team contributor.An active listener with a proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from reviewers and stakeholders.Working knowledge of the current state of web and mobile technology and best practices.The ideal candidate will manage and balance work tasks, organize priorities, present and articulate their work effectively, and demonstrate talent in conceptual thinking, storytelling, problem-solving, and inclusive design. They will play a pivotal role in shaping Microsoft's digital presence by crafting visually stunning UI/UX designs that elevate the brand and engage the audience. The candidate should possess strong aesthetics and the ability to simplify complex ideas, be motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic, with a desire to participate and grow in a highly collaborative environment alongside a close-knit team of visionaries.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $65 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
