A leading US retailer is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Manager of Product Design to join the team in Bentonville, AR! In this leadership role, you'll guide your team in crafting exceptional and inclusive omnichannel commerce experiences across online, mobile app, and in-store touchpoints. MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS.What You'll DoLead your team in defining the design strategy for omnichannel products and experiences.Foster a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives drive creative problem-solving and best-in-class solutions.Leverage design thinking principles to conduct user research, facilitate workshops, and generate innovative design concepts.Champion user-centered design throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all customers.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align business goals with user needs and technical considerations.Communicate design vision and rationale persuasively to audiences at all levels.Partner with the design research team to integrate user insights into the design process.Lead the recruitment, coaching, and mentorship of talented product designers.Oversee the entire product design process, from initial concept to high-fidelity prototypes.Stay up-to-date with design trends across industries and their potential application to retail.We're looking for someone who:Possesses a strong visual and interaction design skillset with a keen eye for user experience.Can effectively communicate complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrates a deep understanding of e-commerce and a proven track record of building revenue-generating experiences.Champions inclusive design principles and fosters a culture of accessibility.Has extensive experience with design research methodologies, competitive analysis, and rapid prototyping techniques.Thrives in ambiguity and excels at motivating and inspiring teams.Translates strategic data and insights into meaningful product experiences.Has a demonstrably successful history of leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.Approaches complex challenges with strategic thinking and systems-oriented solutions.Leads by example, inspiring and mentoring junior designers while contributing to a positive team culture.Is a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset.QualificationsWilling to relocate to Bentonville, AR and work onsite 5 days/week.Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Architecture, Digital Design, or a related field.7+ years of experience in product design leadership roles.2+ years of experience in managing product design teams.Portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centric design solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on empathy and inclusivity.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to lead a team in shaping the future of omnichannel commerce for a leading retailer.Collaborative and supportive work environment.
