Library Assistant - Children's/Circulation Department
Marion Public Library is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person to fill a position in Childrens and Circulation. This part-time position averages 17 - 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities: We are looking for someone who is committed to providing a courteous, efficient, and friendly library service to people of all ages and personalities. Evening and weekend hours as schedule requires.
Hours: Friday 10:30 - 7 8 hours Saturday 10:30 - 4 5.5 hours Evening and weekend hours as schedule requires. One additional scheduled day; additional hours available by picking up shifts.
Qualifications: Applicant should be computer savvy and be able to use technology to provide services for all ages. Customer-service experience required. Criminal background check necessary.
Pay: Depends on experience and education.
