Job Description

LRS Consulting Services is thrilled to announce an exceptional contract to hire opportunity for a Data Visualization Analyst with our esteemed client based in vibrant Kansas City, MO. This role offers the perfect blend of flexibility, allowing you to work remotely for two days a week while enjoying a collaborative in-office environment for three days. This is a brand new role on the data team focused on Tableau.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver key business metrics and data reporting.

Develop and deploy ad-hoc, canned, and self-service reports and dashboards to uncover critical business insights.

Support, optimize, and construct dashboards and interactive data visualizations from multiple data sources.

Generate visualizations and reports for requested projects within the IT domain.

Analyze legacy system data to identify accurate data sources and ensure adherence to standardized values, format definitions, metrics, and business rules in reporting and other data requirements.

Conduct thorough validation and testing of reports and dashboards to ensure consistent and accurate reporting across the organization.

Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to change management processes.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in business intelligence development.

At least 3 years' experience in data analytics.

Proficiency in Tableau with a minimum of 5 years' experience in data visualization.

Strong command of T-SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server or similar database technology.

Proven ability to optimize SQL queries by analyzing query plans and utilizing indexes effectively.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.

Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements to develop insightful reports and dashboards.

Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
