Marketing Communications + Public Relations Manager

About the Role:

Clover Sonoma is seeking a Marketing Communications and Public Relations Manager to oversee corporate and brand communications and public relations activities. Through storytelling, thought leadership and media relations, this role will help generate additional exposure for Clover within the dairy industry, increase share of voice and drive brand and product awareness among consumers.

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Director, this role requires a high level of creativity, excellent writing skills and the ability to successfully navigate the ever-changing media landscape and secure coverage.

Salary range: $85,300 - 100,600 DOE

Responsibilities:

Manage communications tactics to promote creative brand campaigns, new product launches and general Clover Sonoma news. Activities to include narrative development and messaging for promotion across owned, earned and paid channels including website, organic and paid social media, PR and influencersManage corporate communications efforts across company news, executive storytelling and sustainability milestonesLeverage leadership and other internal spokespeople for media opportunities, speaking engagements and thought leadership events to help elevate Clover Sonoma’s visibility across business, brand and sustainabilityOversee product and leadership awards submissionsManage company’s LinkedIn channel overseeing content calendar, creating posts and community management and Company blog storytelling and writingIn partnership with the Sales Team, support retailer communications and messagingCreate and maintain messaging, FAQs, including across company, brand and product portfolioHandle both proactive and reactive media relations activities across both earned and paid opportunitiesSample fulfillment -fulfill product requests from media;Help manage the Clover Cares philanthropic program and identify communication opportunities for storytellingStay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in PR, corporate communications, and digital media, and integrate innovative approaches into communication strategiesDevelop strong relationships on behalf of the brand with key media partnersManage PR event activations with cross-functional teamsSupport crisis communications as neededWhat You Bring to the Team:

5+ years of brand and corporate communications and public relations experience; agency experience desiredKnowledge of the media landscape including consumer, lifestyle, food and beverage, business and tradeExamples of working with media contacts and securing placementsExcellent writing and editing skills for the development of media materials, messaging, LinkedIn and blog contentUnderstanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest), influencer marketing, and digital marketingSelf-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time while prioritizing workloadExperience working with of media tools for reporting on KPIs and the ability to analyze data to inform program improvementsBachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications and/or Marketing or equivalent work experienceStrong writing and editing skills
