Are you an experienced Marketing Manager in plastics compounding seeking a remote position in the Eastern United States? A large and fast-growing company in the plastic resins industry has an exceptional opportunity for you! This role focuses on driving growth, profitability, and market leadership in the wire & cable and/or electronics industry. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, along with 10 years of experience in plastics compounding and five plus years in E&E. Wire and cable and/or electronics experience, as well as UL an other testing agency experience is essential. The position offers a competitive base salary, 25% bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Must be based in the USA and authorized to work in the country.Technological/R&D:Develop and implement a comprehensive technology (new product development) strategy to achieve annual revenue and profitability targets for the E&E segment.Lead the development and commercialization of innovative polymer compounds that meet the stringent requirements of E&E applications.Collaborate with R&D, operations, and quality teams to optimize product performance, streamline processes, and ensure consistent product quality.Increase sales and deliver profitable growth by working with customers to translate unmet needs into functional technical requirements.Work closely with operations team for product scale-ups, coordinate production of new products and samples, and ensure regulatory compliance.Act as the innovation champion of the segment, utilizing your communication skills and project management experience to lead product and business development initiatives through CRM Stage Gate and other processes from ideation to successful product launch.Competencies:Strategic thinking, market orientation, and technical expertise in polymer compounds and E&E industry requirements.Analytical - ability to collect, analyze and draw actionable conclusions from market data.Strong leadership, people management, business acumen, relationship building, innovation, problem solving, and communication skills.Customer-focused, action oriented, and able to drive engagement, instill trust, and demonstrate courage.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or relevant equivalent experience (i.e., Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing); Master's preferred.Ten plus years in polymer compounding industry and five plus years in E&E.Minimum five years customer-facing experience and 2-3 years in sales or marketing roles.Proven track record of driving growth, profitability, and market share in E&E segment.Deep technical knowledge of polymer compounds and strong understanding of E&E market landscape, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.Experience leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with R&D, operations, sales, and marketing, and managing interface with UL and other testing agencies.Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize, execute, and make data-driven decisions.Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, and excellent organizational skills.Strong communication skills, business acumen and emotional intelligence.Proven track record of building business strategies, go to market plans, and business acumen.Leverage interpersonal skills and extensive market expertise to cultivate meaningful relationships with key customers, particularly in the domains of marketing and innovation.Experience with PVC, thermoplastics, polyolefins, elastomers, rubber, polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, LDPE, or LLDPE would be a plus.
