Graphic User Interface Developer

VOCAL Technologies Ltd. is actively seeking a GUI Developer to develop an interface for an upcoming software product. This is a contracted role for a single project. This candidate plays an important role carrying out a range of responsibilities to include:Responsibilities:Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for applications.Interpret design and vision into web content, including branding, typography, layout, image production, page integration and user experience.Test appearance and functionality of web content in multiple browsers, platforms and screen sizes.Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and meet requirements.Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices, and incorporate them into your designs.Ensure adherence to standards through reviews of developed pagesCommunicate design concepts and decisions to client stakeholders and team members.Skills and Knowledge/Qualifications:3-5 years of professional web UI / UX design experience working with software product or consulting companies.Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.Knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/JSFluency in one or more client-side JavaScript framework or library (React, Angular, Ember).Experience with front-end development languages such as jQuery and Bootstrap.Experience creating custom graphics and icons specific to business requirements.Experience creating graphic data models and graphs.Collaborate with back-end developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative web solutions.Ability to assess and improve the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of the product.Ability to work independently or in a small team environment with minimal supervision.Excellent oral and written English language communication skills.Experience working with a remote team.Demonstrated creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, strong collaborative skills, strong written and verbal communication.Experience with databases SQL databases is a plus.Understanding of networking concepts (SIP, VoIP, etc.) is a plus.A portfolio highlighting your UI design projects (if available) is a plus.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.About VOCAL Technologies LtdVOCAL Technologies is a design house dedicated to providing innovative solutions to our customers engineering problems.
