Job Description:
As a WordPress Designer/Developer with UI/UX experience, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites. You will work closely with our Creative Director and development team to ensure that the websites are not only aesthetically pleasing but also optimized for user experience and conversion.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom WordPress sites with modern page builder.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth navigation.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve user experience.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
Ensure website security and work with support team to perform regular updates and maintenance.
Work directly with clients throughout be buildout process to deliver the client’s vision.
Participate in initial sales calls / meetings to gather information and provide guidance regarding project planning and estimate hours required.
Desired Skills / Knowledge:
Proven experience as a WordPress Designer/Developer with a keen eye for aesthetics
Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3
Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
A portfolio showcasing your previous work and projects.
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
Knowledge of website optimization tools and techniques (e.g., caching, CDN).
