Monday - Friday, Day shift (Typically 8:00am-5:00pm) with occasional nights and weekends as needed.

Job Summary

The person in this position will serve as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the UK College of Dentistry. This position will oversee and lead the College's effort in website, social media, and all other media platforms, while communicating and promoting the College of Dentistry's brand.

The person in this position will be held accountable for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic communications plan for both internal and external audiences, including outreach to potential patients, students, donors, friends, and others, to articulate the College's mission, services, and brand.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Required skills include communication, networking planning, development, project management, writing, graphic design, presentations, web page design, customer service, grant writing budget management, and marketing and public relations.

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience in communications at a major University in a clinical academic setting highly preferred.
