Web Developer

to join our team. The Web Developer will leverage programming skills to maintain and update the User Interface (UI) for government programs. The Web Developer will ensure the technical stability of the system interface and manage the SCORM content and uploads to ensure operational portability. They will also collect user data from the system to provide statistical and content analysis.This position is contingent upon award.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologiesCollaborate with designers to create visually appealing web pages focusing on user experienceWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeConduct website testing and debugging to ensure optimal performanceStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web developmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirementsManage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality workTroubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugsRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)Minimum 5 years of experienceAble to obtain a minimum of NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) for a Veterans Affairs Public Trust Tier 3 ClearanceRequired Skills:Proven work experience as a web developer or in a similar roleStrong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languagesExperience with responsive web design and mobile-first developmentSolid understanding of web development principles and best practicesFamiliarity with web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)Knowledge of SEO principles and best practicesExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsDesired Skills:Government contracting experienceDoD and VA experience as a contractor or otherwiseFormer military experienceCATHEXIS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
