The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction and production of all internal and external communications, as well as the coordination of special events. This role involves leading the determination of messaging strategies, coordinating communication distribution, and overseeing the publication of various materials, including the annual report and newsletters. The VP will also be at the forefront of donor development and engagement-related communication and will lead the coordination of major fundraising and branding events. Applicants must have a strong background in communication management, leadership, and strategic initiatives, as well as experience in large corporate event oversight and production. The role requires proven, strong writing skills, management experience, and a background in non-profit leadership. The VP will also be responsible for managing a small staff and will be expected to be a role model of a strong work ethic, collaborative teamwork, and strategic leadership.
