Job Description: Hybrid from Sacramento or San Francisco CA** Looking for Video Editing Skills **This request is for a temporary Graphic Designer position in the Mental Health Unit to provide assistance with recording and helping create webinars and training/ technical assistance tools for court staff and court partners, including planning visuals for each webinar, animating powerpoint presentations, creating visuals, recording webinars, and final editing in preparation for public posting. Tasks assigned to this graphic designer will include but not be limited to: working with JCC program staff to plan webinars on a variety of mental health topics, including videos related to Proposition 1 priorities, recommend visuals for webinars, edit powerpoint presentations to make them visually appealing to our multidisciplinary audience, adding animation and importing video and other source material, logging and identifying selects, rough cut, input and revisions, color enhancement and sound mix, and final review and delivery of compressed videos. This position may also be required to edit behavioral health-related webinars that have already been recorded to make them ready for posting.
Content of the webinars may include but are not limited to a) Proposition 1 primer - what courts and partners need to know, b) Transitional Aged Youths' (TAY) lived experiences in the juvenile justice system and TAY housing challenges, c) Homelessness and whole person care, d) Behavioral health and emotional wellness for underserved communities, e) Homelessness and justice involvement in foster and transition aged youth, f) TAY and foster youth behavioral health and wellness, and g) Policy advocacy and youth involvement.
Required Skills (preferred skills in parentheses):Advanced proficiency with a variety of design and graphics software Advanced proficiency with webinar editing using Adobe Premier Pro or similar software, producing and finalizing graphics and images and coordinate with client and third party vendors to establish design criteria and materials.Advanced proficiency with a variety of design and graphics software including Adobe Premier Pro,Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities and meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.(Proficiency in video animation.)
Ability to pass Background and Drug Screen if Required by Client.
