The Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Utah Jazz marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager will work with the Director of Marketing to develop marketing strategies for campaigns that will primarily support the Jazz DTC streaming product, Jazz+, broadcast, retail as well as assisting with other brand campaigns and initiatives as needed. This position will oversee the day-to-day execution of paid media and promotional efforts on owned channels for campaigns and initiatives that they oversee. The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving engagement across streaming and tune-in to meet and exceed company goals and KPIs.
This is a full-time position based in Salt Lake City, UT.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and execute marketing campaigns that support Jazz+, tune-in, Team Store, CounterPoint, audience growth, and other brand initiatives.Liaise with paid media agencies and ensure execution of targeted media campaigns staying on budget and developing strong reporting and understanding of goals and metrics.Assist in planning the annual marketing budget, and ensure campaigns and projects stay within the allocated budget.Engage and expand audiences and fans by developing and executing retention campaigns and growth initiatives in support of Jazz+ and tune-in specifically.Develop messaging consistent with brand voice and ensure messaging and strategy are targeted to various audiences and executed across various owned and paid channels. Write and edit copy as needed.Work with the analytics team to provide reporting on paid and organic marketing efforts, identify insights, and implement changes to improve campaign results.Work collaboratively with the Director of Streaming, Broadcast team, Team Store, and other internal departments to support department goals and objectives while bringing marketing expertise, audience engagement, and growth ideas to each group.Assist with the promotion and strategy for the Utah Hockey club streaming platform and support the Utah Hockey Club marketing team as needed.Exemplify the Utah Jazz mission and values: transparency, all-in, community-obsessed, one team, and scrappy.Protect the reputation of the company.Other duties as assignedCOMPETENCIES:

Bachelor's Degree (Marketing preferred)Minimum of three years of full-time marketing work experience (sports or entertainment preferred)Experience running and managing paid advertising campaigns across multiple channelsBackground promoting streaming services and viewership for broadcast (preferred)Experience working with or for a paid media agencyFlexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekendsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
