Marketing Manager, Business Marketing, Analytics

This role sits within the Business Marketing team at LSEG, and directly supports the products and solutions within the Analytics business of LSEG Data & Analytics, including those we will bring to market through our strategic partnership with Microsoft. The Business Marketing team is a strategic partner to the LSEG business, powering commercial value through an insight led approach that maximizes the impact of our investment and our relevance in the market. The Business Marketing team is the critical link to the Product and Sales teams to ensure all marketing activities are directly aligned to LSEG's business priorities.

Applicants for this role should ideally have experience of building and executing marketing strategies and plans for analytics or technology solutions to financial institutions. Key responsibilities will include:

Be the voice of our marketplace, and our customers:

Support in the development of the marketing strategy and execution plan for Analytics products and solutions.Define target audiences globally based on insights and analytics and on product strategy.Develop campaign themes and thought leadership opportunities that support LSEG's business priorities.Partner with stakeholders in our Product team to ensure marketing is aligned with and supportive of business agenda, growth priorities and our product launch process.Provide input into the packaging and positioning of our solutions in order to develop compelling value propositions.Support the creation of the content strategy considering the full buyer and influencer journey from Interest and exposure to purchase.Translate strategy into meaningful opportunity:

Lead the team responsible for developing a holistic and individual customer segment marketing plan for the business.Define the marketing objectives including growth and retention targets and specific opportunity plans.Propose marketing campaigns that will retain and grow customers - driving awareness, interest, leads, opportunities, and sales.Devise tactical execution plan to support the marketing strategy, and work with team members to deliver component parts.Develop analysis for marketing campaigns including market situation, themes, key messaging including differentiators and proof points, KPIs and recommended channels to marketWork across all other functions to ensure the production of compelling campaign content and the activation of campaigns in markets globally.In addition, we would expect this person to:

Define the expectation of how marketing will drive results. Partner closely with the Insight and Analytics team to set clear standards and reporting of Marketing ROI aligned to the Business. Assess performance quarterly against targets. Course correct based on learning as necessary.Be a strong and effective communicator and collaborator. This person will need to be able to work across the breadth of our business and quickly understand what requirements are and how we mobilize teams to deploy marketing campaigns that deliver results.Skills and experience:

5+ years experience of B2B marketing into the financial markets community.Experience of product or solutions marketing would be beneficial.Strategic marketing experience preferable or experience having worked with business and product teams to articulate compelling value propositions to customers and prospects.Understanding of financial markets and data sets used by front office teams would be advantageous.Experience working across dispersed teams to drive towards a common goal.Scope of impact:

Leads significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity.Determines work priorities based on general direction from managers.Manage budget for projects or programs within area.Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts and Business Unit strategy.Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues.Strategic planning & decision making:

Applies a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.Anticipates customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies new solutions.Solves complex problems which may be multidisciplinary or require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.Makes decisions in non-routine situations applying considerable interpretative thinking.

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $133,400 - $248,000.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
