Title : AFX ArtistPay Range : 30 to 32$/ HR12 months contractAct as a creative and technical operator for video production and post-production workflowsCapture live concert, b-roll, behind the scenes, and promo footage on behalf of artists and managementConceptualize and execute unique VFX animations for task-specific challenges on behalf of our labels and artists under tight deadlinesEfficiently utilize a wide range of VFX, video, audio, and ancillary production and post-production toolsCreate layered separations from flattened image files and composite new elements into existing mediaColor match and correct mixed media sources into existing source materialEdit, compress and quality check assets for subsequent productization and archiveUpdate and maintain content metadata for incoming assets, utilizing 3rd party and proprietary tracking and asset management systemsReview (and create) automated + manual Master QC reports with a strong attention to detailMake sound, independent decisions, and know when to escalate issuesCross train other team members in standard operating procedures for Creative workflows
Skills5+ years of editing and VFX experience in the digital video sectorThorough working knowledge of video editing, encoding, audio and video mastering and their common failures and technical challengesExperience working with digital cameras, lenses, and peripherals strongly preferredExpertise in post workflows utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci ResolveWorking knowledge and fluency in Blender desiredThe aptitude to normalize, modify, and prepare file-based content to defined specifications and workflowsIn-depth knowledge of and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting in a Mac-based work environment with a variety of 3rd party applicationsKeen knowledge of production/post-production infrastructure requirements as it relates to enabling overall supply chain workflowsAbility to provide constructive feedback around practices, tools and methods related to video production and post-productionOutgoing, creative thinkerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA willingness to work a flexible schedule, as needed, to meet the needs of our labels and partners. Current shift schedule is 8 am-5 pm (may be subject to change due to business demands)A passionate and collaborative team player
