ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive public relations and media strategies that align with the organization's mission and objectives.Establish and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure placements that boost brand visibility.Work collaboratively with an external PR firm to enhance efforts and ensure cohesive PR initiative execution.Lead crisis communication planning to effectively mitigate reputational risks.Oversee content creation, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.Promoting and maintaining the organization's brand both internally and externally, ensuring consistent messaging.Provide leadership and mentorship to the communications team.Engage with key stakeholders to build relationships and promote brand advocacy.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure PR success and analyze data to optimize strategies.Collaborate with various departments to ensure messaging consistency across the organization.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in public relations and media.RequirementsBachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.Minimum 8 years of PR or corporate communications experience.Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences and channels.Experience securing media coverage and working with media outlets.Strategic thinker who is able to develop and execute effective PR strategies.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
