Description
ESC is seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our client's Appstore team. As a UX designer, you will be responsible for creating and improving the user experience of devices across FTV, Table, Automobile, Mobile Game and the Appstore. You will create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with detailed and scalable design specifications for web and mobile interfaces. This role is 100% remote. A qualified candidate will have a relevant portfolio of work with case studies, customer journeys and personas to help define their design process.
Key responsibilities• Create elegant and intuitive user experiences by incorporating user insights, business requirements, and technical constraints.• Lead the design planning and strategic phases of a project.• Proactively pitch new CX ideas backed by strong, well-articulated rationale.• Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups with detailed and scalable visual design specifications for web and mobile interfaces throughout the design process.• Independently deliver design solutions for problems of large scope and complexity.• Be a champion for user-centered design by testing your solutions in front of users. Be willing to build lightweight prototypes, and independently conduct quick user testing.• Present design work to UX, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as stakeholders and executive leadership.• Contribute to design team principles & libraries, as well as develop best practices.• Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency of Appstore projects.
Basic qualifications• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), visual communication, or equivalent professional experience.• 8+ years of professional work experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, brand designer, or similar design-related role.• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience in user-centered design solutions and product design innovation, which illustrate solving multi-platform UX challenges and demonstrate scalable, user-friendly design solutions.• High degree of proficiency in a variety of design and prototype tools such as Sketch, Invision, Figma, Principle, Framer and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Preferred qualifications• Ability to collect, synthesize and react to feedback from the team leads, product leads and engineering leads• Experience designing user interfaces on mobile devices• Experience developing a design language and system that uses visuals, motion and sound in concert• Excellent time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed• Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
