We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager for our Enterprise Solutions group who is eager to help us develop positioning, segmentation, content, and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy as part of our Data and APIs team. Morningstar was built on the idea that all investors should have access to financial data to inform their investing decisions. The Data and APIs team is tasked with making new data available to our clients and providing new and better ways to access this data to best fit each user's workflow needs and support their path to investment success.

The Role:

We are looking for a confident, data-oriented, customer-focused, self-starter who can work effectively in a highly collaborative team setting, working with product management, product development, client success, service, and sales teams. In this role you should be comfortable developing and delivering positioning, segmentation, content, sales tools and Go-To-Market strategy for new data sets across multiple products in the Enterprise business.

This role reports to the Global Director of Product Marketing for Data and APIs and will be an integral part of the Product Marketing function for the business. You will need to be comfortable working with several key stakeholders in product management, sales, marketing, and success across the globe.

Responsibilities:Craft and execute the go-to-market strategy for a category of data releases across multiple products, including positioning, content development, service enablement, and sales and success training and enablement to deliver business growth, which includes retaining existing clients and attracting new clients.Craft and execute the go-to-market strategy for new product releases, including positioning, content development, service enablement, and sales enablement to deliver business growth, which includes retaining existing clients and attracting new clients.Deeply understand our buyers, and constantly bring actionable new market/client insights back to the team including market research, and win/loss analysis. Leverage findings to help the team better understand gaps in the market, driving product development, packaging, pricing, positioning, and messaging decisions.Epitomize a test, learn, iterate mindset to launch and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns that generate demand and drive new client acquisition.Audit current portfolio of sales enablement and client-facing assets. Use findings to present a plan for on-going optimization and advocacy as well as how to increase the engagement of sales teams.Interact with clients and central marketing partners in the development of testimonials and other materials to support marketing programs and enrich sales materials.Collaborate with our business analysts to measure, analyze, and report on the success of product marketing programs monthly, quarterly, and as requested with executive stakeholders to identify opportunities to continuously improve our outcomes relative to our goals.Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years in a product marketing or product management capacityFinancial industry and or SaaS/PaaS experience preferredBachelor's degreeTrack record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that have proven business results and customer satisfaction.Exceptional prioritization skills within a dynamic environment.Powerful communication skills for internal and external outreach and advocacy. Samples of content you have created to showcase different communication styles/approaches, a plus.Must be data-driven and understand how to translate marketing metrics into opportunities for action.Self-starter with a proven commitment to a test, learn, and iterate mindset.Previous experience partnering closely with sales teams to deliver support materials or assets/training is a plus.
