Job Title: Motion Graphic Designer

Department: Marketing

Job Reports To: Director, Creative Services

Status: Exempt

The Motion Graphic Designer will be an integral part of the Creative Services team, bringing the organization's visual brand to life across fan-facing touchpoints. This person will collaborate with graphic designers and videographers to execute motion graphics for social channels, broadcast, and other digital platforms.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:• Conceptualize, design, and animate high quality motion graphics for content including digital marketing, experiential, social, and broadcast• Collaborate with creative teammates to develop compelling visual solutions that align with brand standards and identity• Assist with photoshoots and capturing content• Select and edit photography for use in compositions• Support marketing department activity and provide creative input on campaigns

Minimum Requirements:• BFA or BA in Graphic Design, Digital Media or related majors• 1-3 years of experience• Creative problem solving with high attention to pixel perfect detail• Ability to think conceptually, understand brand strategy and apply to all areas of projects• Capability to work on multiple projects at a given time and quickly execute creative that is accurate and consistent• Understanding of the principles of motion and graphic design with a high-level sense of design, layout and typography• Experience in creating social media content, GIFs, video, 2D & 3D animations/motion graphics• Self-motivated team player capable of producing original ideas• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a cross-team environment• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere)• Proficient in using a Mac• Excellent grammar, spelling, proofreading, and writing abilities• Familiarity and interest in the Nashville Predators organization and the NHL is preferred

Essential Physical Functions:• Physical activities include sitting, walking and standing for prolonged periods of time, as well as bending, squatting, climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, balancing and handling of materials.• Ability to speak and communicate clearly with others• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 20 lbs.• High finger dexterity• Excellent speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech
