Must have skills:

(Designing your way out of ambiguity and using exploration and creativity to make functional specs into a bounty of ideation)A portfolio demonstrating interaction + visual design and prototyping skills.Proficient in all aspects and levels of interaction/UX design from information architecture to systems and workflows to micro-interactions.User-centric approach to design and an understanding of how to apply research insights into design and development of product experiences. Job Description:

Summary:

Designs user interfaces for web products. Writes functionality design specifications. Design and implement prototypes, mock ups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigation structures, and affinity diagrams. Generates design ideas; presents and sells designs to product group. Understands customer needs and motivations and integrates them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality.

Skills: Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required. Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required. Experience creating and implementing usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigation structures, and affinity diagrams is required. General knowledge of web technologies (i.e. HTML and CSS).

Fluency with standard design software tools (Figma, Illustrator, etc) required. Strong interaction design and web technology skills may be required. Experience working with rich client or web applications is a plus. Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality. Must be familiar with industry standards and trends. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years of experience working in product or service design

* OR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems).

* A portfolio demonstrating interaction + visual design and prototyping skills.

* Proficient in all aspects and levels of interaction/UX design from information architecture to systems and workflows to micro-interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction,

* OR related field AND 3+ years of experience working in product

* OR service design

* OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction,

* OR related field AND 5+ years of experience working in product

* OR service design

* OR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems).

* 2+ years of experience shipping games or products and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process

* Ability to generate empathy, using written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
