Our client is dedicated to designing user interfaces for web products. The team is responsible for writing functionality design specifications and designing and implementing prototypes, mockups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigation structures, and affinity diagrams. They generate design ideas and present and sell designs to the product group, understanding customer needs and motivations to integrate them into product design, contributing to user features and functionality

Job Responsibilities:Design user interfaces for web products.Write functionality design specifications.Design and implement prototypes, mockups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigation structures, and affinity diagrams.Generate design ideas; present and sell designs to the product group.Understand customer needs and motivations; integrate them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality.Collaborate with the SMB engineering team, focusing on onboarding, renewal, and driving tenant health scenarios for small/medium businesses signing up for M365.Work with fellow designers, research, product, and engineering teams to define and create relevant, intuitive, and beautiful experiences.Conceptualize and design original ideas to simplify complex design issues.Create clean, focused, and inspiring design work.Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in product or service design OR equivalent experience using design thinking to solve problems.Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design.Strong creative skills; ability to generate design ideas.Experience with usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigation structures, and affinity diagrams.General knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML and CSS).Fluency with standard design software tools (e.g., Figma, Illustrator).Experience working with rich client or web applications.Ability to integrate customer needs and motivations into product design.Familiarity with industry standards and trends.Preferred: Master's Degree in a related field AND 3+ years of experience in product or service design OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND 5+ years of experience OR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience shipping games or products and delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process.Ability to generate empathy through communication, presentation, and organizational skills.The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
