Summary of Position

The Marketing Manager serves as the brand champion of the Maybourne Beverly Hills as well as the Maybourne brand(s), supporting B to C, B to B and MBH internal marketing needs. Working closely with the GM, Hotel Manager, F&B Director and the DOSM, responsibilities include creating marketing tools to drive revenue in all channels and providing brand approval on any marketing collateral produced throughout the hotel. Focus of the position includes the hotel, F&B outlets and The Spa. Assists in the managing of the PR, Social and digital agencies working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

Participates in all marketing and communication internal and external meetings contributing to strategy and assisting in execution for the hotel, spa, and F&B outlets.Manages and enforces brand standards on property with support from Hotel Manager, EOC and other department heads; i.e., Spa, etc.Designs and edits day-to-day templated materials for the sales and catering teams to support needed promotional efforts including B to B channels; i.e., group, corporate transient, social events and weddings.Owns the performance of the MBH website working simultaneously with revenue management and collaborating with the digital marketing manager and the digital agency.Works closely with MHG’s creative/brand agency when requested and communicates within MBH team any brand changes developed at head office.Participates in photo and video shoots of the property and designs printed and electronic collateralExecutes creative for offers and annual promotions like Black Friday and Cyber Monday with DORMCreates all marketing tools for OTA channelsWorks with operations teams to ensure that MBH standards and programs are executed and delivered on brandParticipates in the creation of content strategy, managing deadlines and execution with the internal MBH team and the agencies of recordManages Trip Advisor ranking and responses with General ManagerProduces weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as needed analyzing results and recommending new strategies based on learnings and data.Is involved in the community and supports local efforts along with GM, DOSM and other Sr. Leaders.Maintains comprehensive up-to-date photo library assets and all outletsMonitors web performance on ongoing basis, understanding and analyzing trends, takeaways, and suggesting tactics that can improve performanceCreates and implements CRM/e-mail marketing strategy for all databasesManages all projects, profiles and package placement on CVB, BH, Cvent websites supporting any sales and/or relevant partner sitesAssists in development and execution of all advertising and creates assets as requiredMonitors and maintains printing and amenity inventoriesProfessionally represents MBH in the community and industry organizations and eventsManages and complies with internal purchasing and finance protocols for ALL marketing expenses working with DOSMMaintains a professional image at all times that falls within the hotel and company guidelines for appearance and dressAble to find guest centric solutionsAttends all required meetings.Maintains high confidentiality in regards to guest privacyPerforms any other related duties as determined by MHG, DOSM and GMQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required3-5 years in marketing role required, working with luxury brands and/or digital marketing. Hospitality experience a plus.Systems experience required to include; Microsoft office, photoshop/adobe acrobat, basic HTML coding, InDesignCopywritingDirect marketing strategy development (comprehensive CRM experience)Budget creation and managementPlan development and management including content creation, social media strategyStrong oral and written communication skillsHotel and competitive market knowledgeAbility to analyze data and develop action plansExcellent organizational skills and ability to work in dynamic and fast-changing environment.Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
