As a UX Researcherat Blue Yonder, you will play a pivotal role in capturing the needs and aspirations of our customers and end-users. This position is ideal for someone who is deeply passionate about using research methods to find the right design/experience problems for the team to solve and to help inform the solution. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team that will help shape Blue Yonder's product strategy and the future state of our user experience.

This role will cover all aspects of UX research--from planning and scoping research activities and conducting research using a variety of research methods to generating and communicating analysis of the insights, making them actionable for designers, developers, and product teams. You will work strategically across the solution development lifecycle, identifying and prioritizing opportunities for insights to resolve conflict among stakeholders, validate and inform design decisions, and help optimize and differentiate the experience for our customers and end-users.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct user research applying established qualitative and quantitative research methods and best practices to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.Analyze competitors UI/UX to benchmark and identify gaps between current product offerings and user aspirations combined with the demands of a changing technology landscape.Present and visualize research with documentationAnalyze research outcomes and articulate recommendations for design, engineering, product teams, and others, as appropriateInvestigate and report industry and technology trends to inform the future state of our UI/UXCultivate an understanding of supply chain processes, our solutions, and best practices in enterprise software design and iterate our research methodologies against these learningHelp create self-service tools and research education documentation to scale UX research best practices across the organizationMinimum Qualifications:

B.S. in Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Information Science, User Experience Design, or a related field3+ years of experience in applied research, with a preference for experience in design or product researchTheoretical and practical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including a demonstrated understanding of the strengths, tradeoffs, and application of different methods (e.g., interviewing, ethnography, surveys, co-design, concept-testing, etc.) across the product cycle.An understanding of user-centered design processes and research methods and their application for identifying and solving problemsAbility to analyze, visualize and present research results with detailed documentationAbility to apply design thinking in data gathering and analysis/synthesis activities.Knowledge in distilling research insights into actionable narratives through creative and compelling frameworks and using engaging storytelling with cross-functional partners to drive impact.Experience and a proven ability to think creatively and strategically.Clear, concise, and transparent communication styleAction-oriented, diligent, and flexibleTime management skills, attention to detail, and ability to think and act strategically and proactivelyPassion about discovering great insights to define opportunity/innovation spaces.Preferred qualifications:

Experience using one or more of the following relevant research tools, such as Dovetail, Usertesting.com, Dscout, UserZoom, Morae, Qualtrics, R, SPSS, or similarExperience with data analytics, telemetry, and user-analytics toolsExperience in designing enterprise software solutions in supply chain industry or related industryUnderstanding of client management and project management.*The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
