Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop and lead the strategy a social media and influencer strategy built on analytics to support the business plan and global communications plan

· Manage the relationship with Red Roof’s external partners including Paid Media/Advertising, Social Media and Influencer/Affiliate Relations

· Manage social media strategy and content implementation

· Track and report media and social media activity and ROI

· Analyze and aid the direction of creative performance of advertising efforts to improve overall performance of program

· Support crisis response/issues management activities in close coordination with regional teams, legal, safety and security, and other internal stakeholders

· Manage a team of internal and external partners to execute social media and paid advertising vision from ideation to launch

· Create visual assets and other creative and copy requests, as needed

· Additional projects as needed

Qualifications

· Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent work experience required

· 4 to 5 years of experience in a communications, marketing or public relations role

· Strong copywriting and editing skills and experience

· Excellent verbal communication and engagement skills

· Proficiency with social media outlets, Microsoft Office, social listening tools and content management

· Graphic Design abilities and photography skills

· Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and handle high-stress situations

· Self-motivated, social, and have a positive attitude

· Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks, and complete tasks quickly and effectively

· Open to travel to attend job-specific conferences/educational opportunities
