Reporting Structure
The Temp Associate Designer, Men’s reports directly to the Director of Men’s Design.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:Support with concept and research development for seasonal deliveriesHand sketch styles for presentation boards each seasonCAD layout options including colorways to present to teamResearch inspirational imagery in line with design direction and create presentation boardsAttend fittings and support Sr. Designer with preparation and maintaining all fit changesAttend weekly Work In Progress (WIPs) meetings – accountable for maintaining records of all design changesSet up initial seasonal linesheets for each collection and maintain as changes occur throughout developmentMaintain updated Bill of Materials (BOMs)Prepare seasonal color – once color pallets have been finalized, create smaller pallet boards to share with cross-functional teamsCreate seasonal swatch cards for sketch boardsAssist with internal look book shoots by supporting the Chief Creative Officer in creating the material detailing all looksSupport Chief Creative Officer in creating digital inspiration boards for marketMaintain seasonal swatch library and inspiration closetPerform additional duties and assignment as requestedWhat You’ll Bring:

Must have a 4-year College degree in Fashion Apparel DesignMust have a minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in Apparel DesignMust have excellent working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and ExcelMust have excellent hand-sketching skillsMust be detail oriented individual and a strong self-starter. This position requires one to establish effective work relationships across multiple levels and functions.Must be a team player, have ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and take initiativeStrong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet all objectives and allow the various initiatives of the Design department to be accomplished in a timely mannerExcellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in both written and verbal communicationAbility to work under pressure in an environment of constant shifting priorities and changePositive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
