The company services Parade, Life Goods, and Life Everyday labels along with most major US brand grocery products to over 3,000 independently owned supermarkets throughout the metropolitan NY area and surrounding states. It was incorporated over 80 years ago and has grown and expanded to provide our retail partners with a diverse variety of over 12,000 grocery and dairy items. Description:
The Graphic Designer’s main responsibility is to create and edit weekly circular advertisements and related Point of Sales Art for assigned customer accounts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. The ability to confer with clients respectfully, interpret their needs and use Adobe InDesign and other software products effectively are of utmost importance. A Graphic Designers are also responsible for special projects, building and enhancing websites, maintaining the image library for the company’s item file.
Functions:Working with customers to create basic or custom designed circular pages and window signs using existing assetsTranslating customer needs into new custom templatesCreating weekly themed artworkCreate communicative creative concepts by selective color, fonts, photographs, layouts, and other design elements.Responsibilities :
Working with Merchandising and salespeople.Keep organized electronic files and up-to-dateSpecial projects as assigned (I.E.: websites, logo, image library)Item knowledgeProofing and meeting deadlinesRequirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field of study1 – 2 years’ experience in graphic designKnowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Benefits:
