Proposal Writer
Serve You Rx
is looking for a proposal writer to join our marketing team. The
Proposal Writer
coordinates the creation, collection, packaging, and cataloging of accurate, timely, and competitive responses to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and similar presentations of information that support market positioning of Serve You Rx products and services.
This position is open to remote.
What You'll Do:
As the
Proposal Writer , you will:Manage the proposal development process for new and renewing business opportunities using content management software, internal subject matter expertise, and other sources.Review and identify proposal requirements.Meet deadlines by tracking proposal activity.Maintain the content management database with accurate and up-to-date information.Review and edit content for consistency in voice, style, and proper grammar and punctuation.Improve proposal responses by customizing boilerplate information to speak to opportunity.Maintain client and other reference lists.Comply with department policies and procedures.Complete other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in writing, proofreading, and/or copy editing; familiarity with Associated Press style guidelines.Previous experience in proposal response development (e.g., writing narrative responses, coordinating proposal submissions).Familiarity with proposal management software a plus.Prior pharmacy benefit management experience is not required, but helpful.Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.Detail oriented and ability to adjust to changing priorities to adhere to strict deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solid collaboration and critical listening skills; ability to interact with various internal stakeholdersSolid proofreading and project management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities. Uses sound judgment and common sense to make competent, timely, and effective decisions.Ability to read, comprehend, and follow processes and procedures.
